Solid Construction
I have bad knees and use the shortened version with the T handle as a waliking stick all the time. It has a good, solid in your hand feel and has provided me with a sense of security when I’ve needed it. As a hiking pole, it’s a little heavy on a long hike at first, but you quickly get used to that and the extra weight is worth the stability. With all of the replacement parts and addional options available its the last cane/hiking pole you’ll ever need.

Clever, multi-function walking stick!
Gadget-obsessed husband loves this. It’s a substantial stick that seems to be very well constructed. Haven’t taken it on a long walk yet so can’t speak to whether or not the weight is an issue, but it’s not super heavy, so I’m thinking it will be fine. Benefits of all the tools make a slightly heavier stick totally worth it.

Heavy Walking Stick!
No question that this Hiking Tactical Walking staff is very well-built. Very sturdy, and should last for darn near forever. But, this walking stick is HEAVY! I’m 5’9″ so I didn’t attach all the sections to maximize its length… however, I would not like to use this thing on a long hike… or even a short hike! The various tools like spear point and saw, knife, etc., are fine, but they’re overshadowed by the sheer weight of this stick.I have several other metal/stainless walking sticks that are very strong, but definitely lighter. I think the manufacturer used excessive metal for strength, but incurred too much weight in the process!!!

Well made
Bought as a present for my daughter. She loves it. It’s heavy. To me it feels like having a giant D cell Maglite in my hand. All the survival gadgets inside it are neat. I don’t recommend this to someone older who just needs stability on their walks. But this staff is strong enough to survive the best efforts of the young and energetic.

Solid, well built
Got this for my sons for Christmas, you know how you can tell when you hit the mark? Well, these did, well constructed, not too heavy even for this mom, good reports from my sons on usage. Thinking about one for myself!

Stupid purchase
I’m giving it one star cause I was stupid to buy the damn thing. Why? Why, why why? Just grab a stick in the woods. This thing is heavy and caters to the wanna be outdoorsman that buys crap. Does it work, yeh, I guess. So…..

Call you the walking stuff alone is worth The cost. The extra survival are handy, but not required. Again this will be a great addition.
Great for exercise and walking. Many uses for a relatively simple technology. It’s a highly sophisticated modification of a regular walking stick that can be used as a cane and multiple other useful body supporting technologies. Very happy with it. –
I love this! Has multiple uses for everyday life that support physical activity and a wide range of exercises as well as outdoor activities. Can be used indoors and outdoors. Fantastic

A little too heavy to pack.

Ok, if you are looking for something STURDY for whatever reason, this is it! I have mine for mobility challenges reasons. Nice to know the tools are there but I needed something sturdy….this is it. It weighs 3.74 pounds so it feels heavier than a cedar stick I have been using; however, the weight will only be noticeable for a week. I just put it together and OMG, I am truly impressed. It feels good on the hand. Handles beautifully. Those too,s are amazing. Extra space for storage. Highly recommended.
