Perfect for nature kids
My nephew LOVES this. He takes it everywhere with him and it makes it really convenient the backpack works great too. Accessories are also pretty decent and is great for a 2 year old.

Entertaining toy set.
This outdoor adventure set is very cute and the perfect toy for any child full of energy! Many fun pieces included inside a carrier backpack which is easy to take-along anywhere. I do wish that the set will hold up and last a few months because everything is plastic and I worry that it will break.

The kids love this!!!
Fun in a plastic box for sure!! This set has many fun features, and gadgets, and everything has its own place to be, plus there is still lots of room to store treasures found out in nature. The stickers are wonderful for personalizing it. Unfortunately, it is so fun the kids argue over it all so we need to order another set! Haha

Good for the imaginative explorer.
We got this for our 5 year old grandson. He absolutely loves it. He like to pretend he is an intrepid explorer and it has all the things needed, flashlight, binoculars, water bottle, etc.I nicked it a couple stars because the first one arrived with a broken handle but Amazon shipped out a replacement which arrived the next day and I just had to take the broken one to a UPS store to return. (very easy return process)

Ridiculously cute and actually functional
I thought this would make a fun set for my 4 year old and she really loves it. I was surprised that everything was functional such as the flashlight, compass, and binoculars. The stickers are a nice touch and my little one was happy to personalize the backpack and other items that are included. Just a great way to introduce your little one on outdoor adventures. I would highly recommend it.

Fun for Hours
My four-year-old son and I have had fantastic time with the Nature Bound Explorer Backpack. He plays with at least one part of it every day.He likes when I fill the canteen and tell him we’re going on an adventure. His favorite piece of the kit is the real, working flashlight. He wasn’t as interested in the plastic camera. He uses the shovel in the yard to dig loose dirt, and he trains his binoculars on every bird that wanders into the yard.I cut the sticker sheet into individual stickers, and he keeps them in his first aid kit with a couple of bandages. It’s sweet to see him run to assist one of his siblings when they need a bandage. The backpack has wheels like a rolling suitcase. It’s the perfect size for him, so he rolls the backpack around easily. My little adventurer loves the kit, and I anticipate he will use it for a long time.

Disappointing
The best way to describe this set is disappointing. For $40, this should have been much better. The backpack itself is ok. Since this is supposed to be used outdoors, the tiny little wheels are useless, though.Every piece of this set is cheap, cheap, cheap. The flashlight requires 2 AA batteries that are not included and has got to be the dimmest flashlight I have ever seen. The binoculars have very little “magnification”. The water bottle is ok; nothing wrong with it. The “first aid” box can barely be opened. The picture shows the farthest I could open it without fear of breaking it. The plastic shovel will definitely break the first time a kid tries to dig with it.I did some searching and found I could put together a kit like this with a working camera, real binoculars, sturdy shovel, and a bright flashlight for under $40. This might be worth $10, but only for a 3 or 4-year-old. Any kid older than that will think this is junk.
